Returning to the world of Lavoden, a planet cloaked behind smoke and rain, Deep City still stands as the crime-infested metropolis it was in Light of a Moon. But this time, a new light is cast upon it.

Addey Sartan, the second son of the most powerful man in the East, and the one whose kidnapping was a driving conflict of the story prior, had an important decision in front of him. One that would either aid him in discovering his purpose in life or destroy it altogether.
